Grandmother loses her five senses one after the other until she transforms into a wooden chair. Throughout her transformation, she realizes that her housekeeper is not the wild animal she thought she was, but the real, caring and strong family member grandmother was looking for.
A metaphor of metamorphosis, this project’s message is universal. Creatively presented with a personal reflection, we immediately relate to its characters and objects. Touching on issues that are timeless, and posing questions that we all ask at one time or another, this film promises to bring tears and smiles to audiences worldwide. Age, death, family, legacy, loyalty and class discrimination are but a few of the topics that this piece daringly yet poetically tackles.
