How to Participate

To participate in the Film Prize competition and training program, applicants need to apply as a German-Arab film team.

To find the right team partner for a joint application, the Film Prize organizes project markets in cooperation with regional partners. Arab directors and German producers get the chance to meet and exchange, discuss the director's project and get to know each other. 

German-Arab film teams, who have already found each other elsewhere, can apply directly for the Film Prize.

How to find your team partner

If you are looking for a team partner, then apply as an individual

 

  • at the Project Market Amman in cooperation with The Royal Film Commission – Jordan

or

  • at the Arab Animation Forum in cooperation with the Festival of Animated Film, Stuttgart

or

  • use the networking platform Online Project Market.

How to apply for the Film Prize

If you have found your team partner either at one of the project markets or elsewhere, then

 

  • prepare your project dossier
     
  • submit your application


for the next round of the Film Prize of the Robert Bosch Stiftung.

Ten projects will be nominated by a selection committee.
